“What is writing? What is a remix? Is there a connection between the two? What are your expectations for this course? What do you hope to gain out of this course?”

Writing is a form of art, a lot of people use writing to express themselves and explore their creativity because there is not limit when it comes to writing. Remix is when something that has already been invented, wrote, created or produced inspires you. So it isn't necessarily your idea but you come out with ways to make it newer or better. For instance regular phones were a very big deal until Steve Jobs came up with the iPhone which is now one of the greatest inventions of all time.  The connection between writing, and remix is that a lot of writing is remixed or inspired by someone else's work.  Over the course of years, literature has been very important. There for it can be said to be "copied" or used in a different form. My expectations for this course is to gain a whole new limit of creativity, and I want to put fourth my best effort and learn my best abilities when it comes to writing. I hope to learn how to be the best writer I can be, as well as skills that I can learn to help me. I hope to open my mind, and try to express new things through my writing.
